To challenge our beliefs, we compared the strength of our Black, 6+ mil Industrial Strength Gloves to 7 other similarly spec’d, brand name, industrial-strength, 6 mil nitrile gloves, all size “XL,” by filling each with water to the point of failure.*The only glove to successfully hold 5 liters (1.32 gallons) of water without rupturing was our Industrial Strength Glove, pictured to the immediate right.

We next inflated another sample of each 6 mil glove with air to assess their elasticity. Individually placed within the jaws of a measuring caliper set to a width approximately 5 times greater than their normal palm diameter, each glove was filled with air.* The only glove to achieve this 5X diameter without bursting was our PermaSafe glove, pictured at the far right.

Not to be outdone, we also tested the strength of our Orange, 8+ mil Extreme Duty gloves against 5 other similarly spec’d, brand name, 8 mil, size “XXL” nitrile gloves. For this test, we wrapped two gloves around a stationary steel bar and, grasping only the gloves, had a 180 pound man perform a full body-weight pull-up.* Once again, only the PermaSafe gloves survived.
