PermaSafe CLEAN System & Air Deodorizer is a heavy-duty odor eliminator and germicidal cleaner that’s EPA registered for removing and inhibiting the return of odors in all types of HVAC Systems and Air Ducts, in all types of residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.

CLEAN is effective against odors of all kinds, including many of the most challenging and persistent ones, such as odors associated with fire and tobacco smoke, stale food and cooking, animals, animal waste, animal kennels, barn stalls, garbage, sewage, microbial growth, ammonia, sulfur and other chemicals, and many more.

Due to its antimicrobial properties, CLEAN System & Air Deodorizer not only eliminates odors from bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi, and other odor-causing microorganisms, but also kills 99.9% of the microorganisms themselves.

Unlike other deodorizers, CLEAN doesn’t mask odors. Instead, it truly eliminates them at their source, through the process of oxidation.

CLEAN is also colorless, non-fuming, non-corrosive, non-abrasive, non-staining, non-flammable, PH balanced, hypoallergenic, harmless to HVAC components, and leaves treated systems, air ducts, and the areas they service smelling clean and fresh.

And because CLEAN System & Air Deodorizer contains no harsh or hazardous chemicals, or other adverse ingredients, it’s EPA rated “Category IV” for toxicity, the very lowest toxicity rating any antimicrobial product can be awarded, and one that means no gloves, masks or other Personal Protection Equipment are necessary when using it, no rinsing is needed after it’s applied, and no Precautionary Statements or Hazard Warnings are required on its labels.

Directions for Use

PRODUCT APPLICATION DEVICE REQUIREMENTS: This product is not packaged in a dispensing container, and must be applied with a separate application device. Approved application devices include fine mist spray bottles, other manual compression and pump sprayers, and electric foggers and sprayers. View our Product Applicator Options.

TO DEODORIZE HVAC SYSTEMS AND DUCTWORK: To deodorize HVAC systems ductwork in residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings, spray or fog product into system intake vents while system fan is running. Allow enough spray time for product to contact air duct system surfaces. Repeat application as necessary.

FOR GENERAL SURFACE DEODORIZATION: Product works by oxidation, not by masking of odors. Eliminates odors caused by fire smoke, tobacco smoke, musty odors, stale-cooking odors, and others. Simply spray or fog product on surfaces and let air dry. Product must come into contact with the cause of the odor to be effective.

TO DEODORIZE OR REFRESH INDOOR AIR: Spray the air in a sweeping motion throughout the entire room or area.

Frequency of Application

An application rate of every 3 - 6 months will typically provide effective odor control. Systems in environments exposed to fire or tobacco smoke, cooking, garbage, sewage, animal or other pungent fumes, vapors or odors may require more frequent applications.
